International Teachers' Day is observed every year on 5 October to recognise the important role teachers play in education and society.
For SchoolNest, the day provides an opportunity to appreciate teachers across Uganda for their work in supporting learners, developing skills and creating positive learning environments.
Parents and students can use the occasion to recognise and thank teachers who have made a difference in their education journey.
