We are hiring an ICT Lab Assistant to support our growing computer lab and digital learning programme.
Role Overview:
Reporting to the ICT Coordinator, the Lab Assistant will support computer lab operations, assist students and teachers, maintain equipment, and help implement the school's digital learning strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
• Open and close the computer lab according to schedule
• Provide technical support during ICT lessons
• Assist students with basic IT tasks
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
• Maintain equipment inventory and lab cleanliness
• Install and update software
• Support teachers with classroom technology
• Set up projectors and audio-visual equipment for events
• Backup student work and school data
Requirements:
• Diploma in Information Technology or Computer Science
• Minimum 1 year experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office
• Basic networking skills (WiFi, LAN)
• Familiarity with computer hardware repair
• Patient and helpful with students
• Good communication skills
